QUIET SURVIVAL
The shape-shifters of Afton Hill could always rest peacefully in the small, coastal town in Maine. It was a haven among those who could never find peace to their 'unique' ability to shape-shift into an animal. Here, they could rest their souls and converse with others like them. Only one threat displayed significant danger to them: the Hunters. The Hunters were the human alliance, sworn killers and well-bred assasains who pledged themselves to the removal of shape-shifters. Shape-shifters feared these cunning, elusive terrors in their own home of Afton Hill, in which the Hunters skillfully inflitrated on a daily basis to take the lives of the innocent. It is an eternal battle between the two sides...a secret that screams to be heard...a world of natural selection, of wild adventures, and of restless memories: welcome to the world of Quiet Survival.

Weather: Beautiful sunshine spreads through Afton Hill more and more everyday. It takes a large tree to get some good shade, or under the Green Pig's roof for a nice drink.

The Docks Large docks at the end of a white sanded beach welcome the fishing/transport boats coming in from the sea. Many say it's the best place to watch the horizon. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
Elkhorn Woods (2 sub-boards) The forest surrounding Afton Hill. It acts as a natural barrier to the outside world, and a place for gatherings and merry-making...as well as mischeif. Moderators: adamaris, darkangelazriel, kodioko
Lake of the Ancestors A beautiful, placid lake in which to dwell on thoughts and memories. Also used for a refreshing swim. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
The Ritual Grounds In a clearing of trees, old cracked ruins lay in a wide circle surrounding a grey stone platform. Statues of old forest gods and goddesses still watch over weary trespassers. This is where the ancient ancestors of the shape-shifters performed rituals and paid their pilgrimage. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
Willow Cave (1 sub-board) A beautiful and large hidden cave resting on the outskirts of Afton Hill. Few come to play in the dangerous pits of the hollow tunnels underground, but it proves always to be a good adventure. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
Daggertooth Highlands (1 sub-board) Mountainous highlands are greeted by the expanse of Elkhorn woods. A good journey for the traveling type, only being thirteen miles north from Afton Hill. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
Sleepy Eye Meadows A huge expanse of lucious green and yellow grasslands that gives a good stretch of land to those willing of a good run. Moderators: adamaris, kodioko
